SECURITY AND SAFETY TIPS TO STUDENTS DURING THE NATIONAL DAY HOLIDAY

各位留学生同学，大家好！
Dear International Students,

国庆节假期10月1日-10月7日共7天 ,请各位同学们假期注意安全，留校的同学请注意寝室的防火防盗。如假期期间外出旅游,请告知自己的辅导员老师或者导师并注意外出安全，了解搭乘水陆空各类交通工具、遇到雷雨等极端天气、遇到地震、泥石流等自然灾害时的安全常识与安全防护，假期期间如遇紧急情况也请第一时间与老师联系。

To celebrate theNational Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, you will be in holiday fromOctober 1st to 7th. For your joyful and safe vacation as well as accident prevention, you are kindly reminded of the following:

1. Improve your safety awareness. If you stay on campus, please pay attention to fire prevention and anti-theft protection. If you leave school, please don’t forget to ask for leave from your tutor.
2. Pay attention to traffic safety. You should be familiar withand obey the traffic ruleswhen traveling.
3. Be prepared in case of emergencies. Preparing for emergencies well in advance is one of the most effective ways to deal with potential disasters. You should learn the precautions and countermeasures against extreme weather like thunderstorm, and natural disaster like earthquakes and mudslides. If an emergency arises during the holiday, please contact your tutor or teacher at the earliest possible time.
