Vice Dean Hu Xiewen led the team to participate in the 13th International Conference on Engineering Geology and Environment

The 13th International Conference on Engineering Geology and Environment was held in San Francisco, USA from September 17 to 21, 2018.Many experts and scholars from China, the United States, Russia, Japan, and other countries and regions gathered together for a feast of academics. The staff attending the conference were Professor Hu Xiewen, Professor Wu Xiyong, Peng Yongliang, and Liao Xin Zhang Zhihou.The theme of the conference is "Engineering Geology for a Sustainable World" with 57 topics.In order to improve the international reputation of our university's geological engineering profession, promote international academic exchanges, and demonstrate the latest scientific research results, Prof. HuXiewen made an academic sub-station report entitled “Research actuality and evolution mechanism of post-fire debris flow”, Liao xin The associate professor gave an academic poster presentation entitled "Study on the Effects of Chemical Weathering of Black Shale on the Concrete", and discussed relevant issues with a number of experts and scholars, and conducted a heated academic discussion.
