Dr. Yuanxin Ye wins the best youth oral paper of ISPRS Geospatial Week 2017

The ISPRS Geospatial Week 2017(GSW2017), which is devoted to promoting international cooperation and exchanges in surveying and mapping and the development of geospatial science and technology, have been hosted by International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and WuHan University on September 18-22, 2017 at Wuhan. The teacher of our university, Dr. Yuanxin Ye, won the best youth oral paper award of the conference.

The best youth oral paper award to authors who are less than 35 years old and are the 1st author of a high quality paper presented to the ISPRS GSW. The GSW2017 brought together over 1000 participants, where more than 30 percentage of participants come from overseas. Dr. Yuanxin Ye is first winner of this award in our university.

ISPRS was established in 1910, which is a non-governmental organization devoted to the development of international cooperation for the advancement of photogrammetry and remote sensing and their applications, and has the great reputation and influence in the world. ISPRS holds a ISPRS congress every 4 years, and a ISPRS GSW every 2 years for academiccommunication, respectively.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Yuanxin Ye won the best youth paper award of ISPRS congress 2016 last year, who is also only scholar from china to achieve this award in that congress. Moreover, Dr. Yuanxin Ye is the only scholar who won both the best youth paper awards of ISPRS congress and GSW so far.
