The ISPRS geopspatial Week 2017, co-hosted by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and Wuhan University, officially opened at the Wuhan Donghu International Conference Center, September 18th, 2017. Professor Zhu Qing gave a talk entitled "LOD Generation of building Models from Oblique photogrammetry " at the Symposium on Photogrammetric 3D Reconstruction for geo-applications, September 21st. Professor Zhu Qing was also invited to host a workshop on indoor three-dimensional modeling and location services (ISPRS WorkshopIndoor3D), September 19th.
Thousands of guests from all over the world arrived in Wuhan to participate in this event in the field of geospatial information. The five-day session included a Smart city themed seminars and 9 frontier workshops, 37 guest speakers gave heavyweight talks and nine seminars received more than 300 papers around the world.
