Title: Geodetic Earth System Research with Gravity and Altimetry Satellite Missions

Prof. Jürgen Kusche comes from Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation, University of Bonn. He received the Ph.D. degree from Bonn University in 1991. From 1991 to 2001, he was a research associate at Institute of Theoretical Geodesy in Bonn University. From 2001 to 2005, he was an assistant professor at Dept. of Geodesy, Delft University of Technology. From 2005 to 2006, he was an associate professor at Dept. of Earth Observation and Space Systems, Delft University of Technology. From 2006 to 2009, he was the head of section 1.3 Gravity field and gravimetry at Helmholtz Centre Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ). From 2009, he was the full professor at Bonn University. Now he is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal named Journal of Geodesy. His research focuses on astronomical, physical and mathematical geodesy. He has published more than 100 papers.
