Onthe morning of November 11,Xu Junhua, Deputy Secretary/Deputy Dean of Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Randy Seitsinger, Deputy Dean of College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology, Oklahoma State University, attended the Sino-US Work Seminar on SWJTU-OSU Cooperative Education Program in this semester for exchange and discussion on the quality improvement and teaching management of cooperative education.

Xu Junhua, shared his ideas on program development, teacher team construction, curriculum quality assurance, guidanceonofkey students, program laboratory construction optimization scheme, student application for the US admission notice and other issues in the context of the epidemic. Both parties have reached a series of consensus based on the educational philosophy of "internationalization, high standard and strict requirements".

The both parties paid high compliments on the program in talent training, laboratory construction and scientific research in the past four years, as well as the leading and demonstrative roles in the Sino-US educational cooperation in the process of the internationalization of engineering education.Both parties agreed to further cooperation and exchange between the two universities in the next stage, and to improve the quality of graduates of the Program.

Attendants includes Vivian Wang, Dean of College of International Education, Charter Virginia, Head of Fire Department, Teacher Anne Mahoney and Michol Miller of College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology, from Oklahoma State University, and Professor Lin Peng and Associate Professor Li Tao from Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Du Hong, Director of Executive Office of the Faculty, Gan Min, Zheng Rong and Chen Qian from the Program, and Instructor Wang Qiong from Southwest Jiaotong University.
