On 1stNovember, Professor HUANG Zhongwei was invited to give an academic lecture entitled “Well Drilling and Completion Using High-pressure Water Jet Technology” to our staff members and students. He also provided several wonderful suggestions for the subject construction of the resource exploration engineering.
Professor HUANG Zhongwei is the director of Geothermal Research Center, director of oil and gas well engineering department in China University of Petroleum (Beijing). He has won the NSFC for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has a profound learning in oil/gas and geothermal development.
During the lecture, Professor HUANG Zhongwei reported that how the novel jet theories and technologies were used in unconventional resources and geothermal development. He also conducted comprehensive academic communications with students. He encouraged all students to activate creative ideas and accumulate new theories and new technologies.
