In order to better accomplish the work in professional accreditation, in the morning of April 26th, the department of Geological Engineering arranged a geological engineering certification work preparation in the Room X4420 of the Xipu campus. The relevant leadership of the college and the department of geology and engineering and all faculty members (more than 20 people) attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Wu Xiyong, chair of Geological Engineering.

During the meeting, the work contents and procedures of the professional evaluation were arranged to the faculty members, and all faculties discussed in depth the problems encountered in the process of writing the self-evaluation report of engineering education professional certification. It is clear that the preparation of the initial draft of the self-assessment report is expected to be completed by April 30th. The evaluation of the laboratory support conditions and the achievement of the course standard also carried out a clear division of work, all the work has been specifically implemented to the responsible person to ensure that by the end of May to complete the corresponding preparation work.

The participating faculties agreed that the evaluation of the educational profession will be an important opportunity for the sustainable development of the teaching of geological engineering in our college. It is not only beneficial to deepen the reform of education and teaching, but also to improve the level of professional construction and the quality of personnel training, and to promote the construction of teachers and the standardization of basic teaching facilities.
